This policy explains what personal information Excapelabs collects through excapelabs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Excapelabs is based in Meycauayan, Bulacan, Philippines. We handle personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
- Get Featured form: your name, email, what you do, your interview preference, a link to your work, and your message.
- Contact form: your name, email, the reason you’re writing, and your message.
- Interviews: the answers you send us by Google Doc or share in a Google Meet interview.
- Song submissions: the details you send through the Songhits Google Form.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Comments: your name, email, and comment, if you comment on a post.
- Site statistics: our host and analytics tools record visits, such as pages viewed, device type, and general location. [Confirm which tools you use, for example Jetpack Stats or Google Analytics.]
How we use it
- To reply to your messages and review feature applications.
- To write and publish features from your interview answers.
- To handle magazine orders.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed.
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
What we publish
When we feature you, we publish your name as you want it written, your story built from your interview answers, and photos used with your permission. We never publish your email address or other contact details from our forms.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal information. A few services process it for us so the site can run:
- WordPress.com (Automattic), which hosts the site, forms, comments, and newsletter.
- Google, which runs the Songhits submission form and our Google Docs and Google Meet interviews.

We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it

Your rights
